Trials will commence on the Q1 Lakeside (1 turn track) on Tuesday 18th March 2025.
Times for the trial sessions and when you can book are noted in the table below:

NOTE – Trials at Ipswich Showgrounds will only be conducted on Monday’s from 3pm – 9pm until the venue ceases racing (No Wednesday trials moving forward).
Terms and Conditions
A greyhound nominated for an event at The Q must have successfully trialed out of the starting boxes to the satisfaction of QRIC stewards and/or QGRC officials, at the specific track it is to be nominated for (Q1, Q2 and/or Q Straight).

All licensed participants booking trials acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
The QGRC hold the right to refuse entry to participants breaching these Terms and Conditions and may report the matter to the QRIC.
Trial Distances
352m, 390m, 457m.
Solo and field trials available to be booked.
There will be no finish on lure trials.
A greyhound is cleared for all distances on that track after one satisfactory trial (regardless of distance).
A satisfactory pre-nomination trial at The Q requires that a greyhound completes the following:
- Jumps from a starting box approved by Stewards/QGRC official;
- Runs past the finishing post; and
- Enters the catching pen.
How to Book Trials
You will need to enter your greyhounds name and also include its microchip number or ear brand number before booking trials.
